This is my first time on here blogging because my life has been consumed with wedding plans for the past two months.  For those of you who are not aware (which is probably most of you), Pat Cavanaugh and I were married on June 23rd!  And we are now in New Orleans on our honeymoon.  For those of you who have never been to New Orleans...it definitely has been an interesting experience to say the least!

Now for what I know you all are waiting for...our love story! :)  Pat and I both attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.  However, by the time Pat tranferred to Southeastern, I was already graduated and working in the Admission Office.  Actually, that's how we met--I was his Admission Counselor.  Since I was the only person in Florida that Pat knew, we hung out  from time to time.  In the process we became friends, but the thought of anything more didn't cross our minds.  One day we were hanging out at Universal Studios, and as we walked to lunch, the thought occured to me out of the blue, "Holy cow, I am in love with this person!"  Apparently, this same thought had occurred to Pat a week or two prior.  From there, it was kind of a whirlwind...we were dating, we were engaged, and then we were married.  Now we are beginning married life together and it's been great so far; I got to marry my best friend!
